On August 6th, Aberdeen joined forces with 15,000 communities worldwide for the annual National Night Out crime and drug prevention event. National Night Out has proven to be an effective, inexpensive, and enjoyable program to promote community and police partnerships in our fight for a safer community and nation. Families joined forces with practically every community service department, getting first-hand experience with equipment and personnel, while enjoying games, food, and prizes at Melgaard Park.
