With Celebrity Chef Jon Ashton
The American News 2014 Dash of Aberdeen Food Show took place the evening of September 4 at the DEC, and this year’s event was again a huge success. Celebrity Chef Jon Ashton returned for the second year in a row as the Dash star performer and guests were equally as entertained by Jon’s deliciously easy to follow cooking demonstrations spiced with his unique style of humor. Festivities included hors d’oeuvre provided by Ken’s SuperFair Foods, accompanied by wine tasting, vendors selling handmade goods, home party products and information on local businesses (with a focus on health, entertainment and fine cuisine). Some lucky audience members got to take home a grand prize provided by event sponsors such as: Aberdeen Chrysler Center, Malchow’s, Ken’s SuperFair Foods, House of Glass, and the Dakota Event Center.
