The new logo and branding was announced Monday at the Aberdeen City Council meeting.

The Aberdeen Area Convention and Visitors Bureau will be moving to South Main Street upon completion of the recently announced Malchow Plaza. There will be a visitors’ center right on South Main Street, along with the Convention and Visitors Bureau offices. The building will also house the Aberdeen Development Corp., South Dakota Small Business Development Center, Dakota Broadcasting and The Market on the Plaza. The Plaza itself will host events downtown at the corner of South Main Street and Fifth Avenue South.

Our move-in date has yet to be set, so continue to find us at 10 Railroad Ave. S.W. in the historic Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Depot until we tell you otherwise. Our location isn’t all that’s new. The Convention and Visitors Bureau is one of three organizations using the new city branding. The others are the Aberdeen Area Chamber of Commerce and the Aberdeen Downtown Association.
