Aberdeen Author, Joseph Holt

Golden Heart Parade, the debut story collection from Aberdeen author Joseph Holt, was released this fall. Many of the stories are set around South Dakota—including Aberdeen, Groton, and many rural roads and familiar farmlands. Carmen Maria Machado described the stories as “raw, dark, and surprisingly funny.” Joseph grew up and attended school in Aberdeen, though he now teaches at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
