The Technology and Entrepreneurship Summit will be held on Wednesday, September 18 at the Johnson Fine Arts Center on the campus of Northern State University. This event is powered by the Northern Innovation and Startup Center and the Aberdeen Development Corporation. It will focus on the intersection of technology and business practices for organizations ranging in size from large businesses to startups. The summit will feature insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and engaging presentations from tech experts and business professionals who have embraced technology to elevate their organizations to the next level.
The keynote speaker will be South Dakota native Tom Patterson, co-founder of Tommy John, a disruptor brand challenging the sleepwear industry. Fifteen years since introducing the world’s first patented undershirt with a stay-tucked guarantee, Tommy John has attracted celebrity loyalists like Kevin Hart and Howard Stern. The company has sold more than 20 million pairs of underwear, and its products are available in over 3,000 wholesale locations and retail stores.
Additional speakers for the event include Tyler Cohen Wood, Nila R. Leiserowitz, Matt Paulson, Christine Hamilton, and many more. For tickets and more information, visit www.northernstartupcenter.com/summit.
