Entrepreneurs from across the region will have the chance to compete for a $10,000 cash prize at the 2025 Aberdeen Business Pitch Competition.
The event, which is a collaboration between the Aberdeen Development Corporation and the Northern Innovation and Startup Center, began taking entries in April this year. The final presentation event will be held on June 30 at Engels Event Company.
The competition was open to start-ups and innovative projects that are less than five years old with less than $500,000 in cumulative revenue. Individuals who have previously submitted an entry to the competition in past years were eligible to enter again.
Last year’s finalists were Sarah Rice of Ascend Aviation Detailing LLC, Zamani Peters of DetailerShopApp, Grace Kramer of eqUTI, and Tiffany Hoeft of Minds Matter PLCC. Hoeft was named the winner, and the other finalists each received a cash prize of $1,000.

The Aberdeen Business Pitch Competition is more than just a contest – it’s a celebration of ideas, innovation, and community. Finalists will showcase their entrepreneurial visions before community leaders, industry experts, and potential investors, all working together to strengthen Aberdeen’s entrepreneurial landscape.
