Dakota Student Art Exhibition Open House

Seventeen area schools from North and South Dakota will be showcasing their student artwork at the ARCC April 19-20. This program is held over two days with judging sessions and art workshops. In its 28 years, it has provided constructive and supportive feedback to young artists while also letting them experience art workshops with professional artists. One student art piece will be awarded “Best in Show” and additional “Judges Choice” awards will be given in 6 different media categories. One school from each state will be awarded the “Best Team” trophy. The Lora Schaunaman “Rising Star” award will be awarded to a student who exhibits budding potential to be a great artist in the future. New in 2023 will be an honorable mention for the best middle school art piece.

Winners will be publicly announced the Friday following the event.
