Free Coffee Wednesday from AARP Aberdeen

Aberdeen area residents looking for a hot cup of coffee and friendly conversation are invited to stop by Ken’s Gourmet Coffee Shop at Ken’s SuperFair Foods between 9:30-10:30 as part of AARP Aberdeen’s Free Coffee Wednesday.

AARP volunteers in Aberdeen plan to host the free coffee and conversation events on the first Wednesday of the month, always at the same time and location.

“We are pleased to bring this free event to the community,” said Brenda Lanphere, AARP Aberdeen volunteer. “Building social connections and sharing resources to help empower people to choose how they want to live as they age are important priorities for AARP. We are thrilled to work with the AARP South Dakota state office to bring the Free Coffee Wednesday program to Aberdeen.”

On the first Wednesday of the month, AARP volunteers will be at Ken’s Gourmet Coffee Shop, located at Ken’s SuperFair Foods. Anyone can stop by, check in with the volunteers, and then they will receive a free cup of brewed coffee or tea.
