Julia and Corbin Smith’s wedding was a celebration not only for becoming Mr. and Mrs. Smith, but as a thank you to everyone who encouraged and supported them along their journey. The high school sweethearts shared countless memories together from the moment they met back in 2011. And when Corbin decided to pop the question in Las Vegas, Julia was completely surprised, and the couple was beyond excited to start the next chapter in their relationship.

Corbin’s proposal wasn’t the only thing that caught Julia by surprise. When she took a moment to look at the ring, she sensed something familiar. Julia soon realized that the ring that Corbin chose was the same ring that they saw two years ago in a random shop, but when they started to actually ring shop, they learned that the shop no longer carried that brand. Corbin secretly searched for that ring until he finally found it a few months before the proposal at the same shop where Julia’s dad bought her mom’s ring.

The ceremony itself was short and sweet, but that didn’t take away from how meaningful it was to Julia and Corbin. The couple chose to not rehearse their vows the night before, making their promises to each other on their wedding day even more purposeful and impactful.

The Smiths planned special moments throughout their wedding day, but the reception really showcased their appreciation for all their guests. Yard games were placed outside the Wylie Park Pavilion for people looking for fresh air and a table was dedicated for candy and activities for the kids. As an alternative to traditional wedding party entrances, the DJ read little bios for each member of the wedding party. It was a good laugh for the rest of the guests and a great ice breaker for the rest of the celebration. //
