Local boutiques came together Thursday, September 29th, for the Aberdeen Magazine 2022 Fall Style Show at Engels Event Co. on Main Street. A beautiful venue, great food and drinks, and a fun assortment of vendors set the tone for a vibrant evening of fashion.
The runway show included styles from seven local shops including Beauty Brew Boutique of Groton, Boho Closet Boutique, Hitch’N Post, Lily’s, Mainstream Boutique, Skal Moon and The Fuze. Emcee JoAnn Richter, owner of Boho Closet, introduced each boutique while DJ Rob Moore and Alex Bartlett of Pauer Sound kept the event lively.
Big Fella’s Catering served up exceptional appetizers and Sweet Pea Cakery provided the Fall-themed designer cookies. Both played to rave reviews!
This is the third Style Show hosted by Aberdeen Magazine and the first to be held on a weeknight and at Engels. All of the models did a great job on the runway but young Kash & Maverick definitely stole the show in their western duds!
The Style Show is a great ladies’ night out, but the event showcased some new trends for men, too. //—Julie Lillis
